Help with getting my money back

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full
I bought a pair of Irish Setter boots that the toes on both shoes stated to crack, so they gave me a return slip, so I sent them back hoping to exchange them or get my money back, waiting about three-weeks and heard nothing from them, so I call them and got a recording said have they're having problems and leave message and I did with my phone number, I had called them at least 4 times, no response than I email them 3 time and was told that someone would look into it and still never hear from them, I happen to see pissedconsumer.com, so I filled out their form sent it in and guess what do you know that same day I received an email saying that I was going to get my money back and I did I would like to say thank you for helping me with this problem. I would say if you are had problems with getting and exchange or your money back for some company that keeps ignoring you, then you should contact pissedconsumer.com for help, again thank you for your help Paul

I went to the Chattanooga location on Sunday 11/1/2020 at 4:00 to find the door locked the lady on duty said system was down and couldnt take my order then I said can you polish my shoes. I dont know why she couldnt write info down. If she polished by shoes I couldnt get back for 48 hours. Its already a problem when this lady works. If she dont like her job then go somewhere else.

Defective soles on a pair of 606 boots

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full

May 5 2020 I purchased a pair at a distributor location according to the sign in the window where I had purchased 202 boots for many years, After wearing them around 11 times I felt like something was

stuck to the bottom and found the supersole had turned soft and coming apart. I returned them to the store of purchase who told me

they were no longer a distributor for red wing and I needed to take them to a company store.

On 9-22-2020 I did just that and was told date code showed they were 11 years old at time of purchase. The manager contacted factory explaining the problem as i listened.

I was told he would be issued a credit and I could pickup a new pair 9-25. When I arrived to pick them up I was told headquarters said

I had to take a picture of boot issues and submit it directly for evaluation.

This was the biggest bunch of bull ever and I explained to the manager I had been buying 202 boots for as far back as I could remember and only purchased 606 boots because 202's were no longer being made and not in stock. I WILL NEVER PURCHASE OR ADVISE ANYONE TO DEAL WITH RED WING AGAIN !!

Red Wing won't repair or replace the work boots

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full

I purchased a pair of work boots last Oct or Nov 2019. After buying the recommended inserts and a pair of socks, I paid over $300.00 that day.

The boots alone were over $200.00. This summer I noticed the tread was wearing thin as I could feel rocks come through and some stitching was coming loose. I took them into the West Valley UT store to have them repaired or replaced as I was told they had a year warranty on them. I was told by the associate that the stitching would be repaired under the warranty BUT the tread could NOT be resoled as this particular boot (the only one in your inventory) has the sole glued instead of stitched therefore it can't be repaired.

Why wasn't I told this was an issue when I bought them and why won't they be replaced if they can't be repaired? I'm very disappointed in the results I got from the store. I went to red wing as I've had a pair of boots in the past that were very good quality.

Now, you don't stand by your product because the manufacturer used glue instead of stitching and this is the ONLY style that has glue used on them? This is ridiculous to me and if I don't get a replacement, I will never buy from you again and will pass on the lack of customer service I received from Red Wing.

SOLES FALLING APART

I've worn Red Wing boots for 50 years. The last 3 pairs have only lasted about 2 months each. The soles are literally falling apart and separating from the rest of the boot. Sadly, I feel Red Wings and I are done. Marty Mullins

Unpleased

I bought a $337.00 pair of red wing pull on work boots with steel toe. I now have a huge bump on my right big toe from the edge of the steel toe rubbing and a sore on my outside left calf where the boot has been rubbing. The boots didn't do this for the first few weeks. I will never buy red wing products again. You spend this kind of money on a boot it should never let you down.

You do know that they have a warranty on their work shoes right? In the first 30 days there is a no ask return and after that a year of fixing whatever is the problem and a lifetime guarantee on quality.

Red Wing slippers Poor Construction

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full
My wife bought me a pair of Slippers as a Christmas present from the Red Wing store in Fairfield, CA. They came apart after about three years. I emailed the HQ about the problem and they directed me to the shop where I bought them. I took the slippers to the Fairfield store and showed them what was happening. The seam at the front of the slippers is coming apart and both heals are separating from the body of the slippers. They were not willing to do anything since their warranty is only good for one year. I was disappointed at their response. I thought Red Wing products should last much longer than three years. I need slippers, but I won't return to Red Wing to buy them.
